Our Story

In early 2019 the Diane Miller Gift of Hope Fund (GOHF) was established. This fund was created in honor of the Diane Miller, who lost her battle with pancreatic cancer June 16, 2018. During Diane's 40 month battle she met many cancer patients that had to make difficult decisions between treatments or paying the bills. Her heart went out to them and she wanted to help. She learned of the WellSpan York Cancer Patient Help Fund that benefits patients with financial hardships. We are a nonprofit organization whose sole purpose is to keep Diane’s passion alive...To Give HOPE.

The Diane Miller GOHF is a 501(c)(3) organization created to allow all contributions to be tax deductible. This fund is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization  dedicated to supporting cancer patients and their families during hardships created by a cancer diagnosis. Cancer does not discriminate and practically every family has been affected in some way by this disease. As a community it is important that we make an effort to support each other. Since we began raising funds in 2017, nearly $200,000 has been donated to the  WellSpan York Cancer Patient Help Fund!
